A few words about the birds

Part way through the month of January, I learned about the Leslie Saeta 30 Day painting challenge from my friend Karin (thanks, Karin!), which gave me the impetus to paint birds. Photographs are from a wonderful photographer who goes by the moniker AcrylicArtist (Thank you, AcrylicArtist!)  on a free photo website called Morguefile (which I learned about from Carol Marine (thanks, Carol!). And… the collage posted here is from PicMonkey, which is is a celebratory collection of paintings created during the 30 day challenge (thanks, Leslie!).  Scroll down for larger images of the daily bird portrait collection!
