Pewter Figurine

This pewter figurine made for a quick little still life. She is all of about 2 inches tall. I found it interesting to use Gamblin’s Torrit Grey, along with titanium white and lamp black (which has a slight blue compared to other blacks). Gamblin’s Torrit Grey is the company’s mixture of all colours and usually available in April, made available for free at your local art store if you purchase a Gamblin product.I like using it as a warmer grey, especially in monochromatic studies.
